Ok, before y'all pee in your pants - calm down. This is not in any way an announcement. I want this blog to be a place where I can document my thoughts, my awesome life, the things I love and the feelings I have. Oh, and to blab on about how completely cute and awesome my amazing husband is- be jealous! Don't like my posts? Think I'm weird? Wish I'd stop talking? Well, Dollface, no one is makin' ya read. These are my thoughts. Just whatever is running through my head. And tonight I am thinking about my daughter. Or daughters. Whichever! I have been thinking lately about the power of parenthood, and the magic and potential of children. I may think too much about kids or whatever, but it has been my dream to be a mother since I was a little girl. Tonight I want to talk about my daughter.
I hope you know how incredible you are. I hope I remember to tell you everyday how much I love you, how utterly fantastical I know you are. Especially on the days when you wish I weren't your mother. I hope you never dream of being pretty. You are too amazing to be summed up in 6 letters. I hope you have your daddy's green eyes, his caring and kindness and joy. I hope you have my laugh, and hopefully the same tenacity and passion for everything you do - the good and the bad. I hope you never question your Father in Heaven's love for you. Or mine. I'm not saying we'll paint each other's toenails every night, and tell secrets, but I hope you never have to doubt yourself or hate who you are as a result of my words or actions. Moms are humans too. Even the perfect ones. :)
I hope you are strong, and bold, and talented. I hope you know and accept it, and that you are never afraid to show it. I wish you just enough sickness to appreciate your health. I hope you know you are a princess. All girls are. Even when we don't feel like it. I want you to behave like a princess. Be honest, virtuous, noble and just. Remember you Father in Heaven in all things, and you will be blessed beyond what you can imagine or what you think you may deserve. I love you, my sweet. i can't wait for these next few years to fly by so I can meet you and teach you about the awesomeness that is shoes and tea parties and life! See you in a few! :)

Mr. and Mrs. Anderson
Guess what?! We're MARRIED!!!!!!!
July 24th, 2010 was the most gloriously beautiful day of my life. Being sealed for Time and Eternity to my best friend in the world was absolute bliss. I think I glowed like a little glowbug. :) Wesley and I are loving the married life. Waking up to those beautiful green eyes is just serenity. Getting our lives organized into one is a hassle, and our house is an absolute disaster zone, but we wouldn't have it any other way.

I love to see the temple....
Yesterday, I had the opportunity to take Wesley and my parents to the Rexburg Idaho temple, to take out my own endowments. It was such a wonderful experience. My head is still buzzing from everything I did and learned in that Holy House of the Lord. By the way Heavenly Father has really cute carpet. :) it was such a joy as we finished our session to look to my left and see my wonderful husband-to-be, and to look to my right and see my beautiful mother and father and realise that because of the righteous choices we have all made, I get to be with them (and all of my family) throughout the eternities. The day was thoroughly spiritually and mentally exhausting, and I can barely remember everything, but I know that I made the right choice not only for myself, but also for my little family. I can't wait til the next time Wesley takes me to the Temple, and all the times after that. I love the Lord and his Son Jesus Christ. I am grateful for Christ's atoning sacrifice and for the power of Temple ordinances and covenants. Today I am a great big happy bomb, ready to explode with joy.

PSYCH!!!!
So, our landlady turned out to be a lunatic. She called Wesley at the beginning of the week and told him that we were asking for too many favors. Escuse moi? Have you seen your house Mrs. Frodo? WE were the ones doing YOU the favor! She also said we would have to take said crappy house as is, because A: its a rental, take it or leave it, and B: she doesn't like paint. What the what? She said the reason for all the creepy wood paneling (aka parquet on the walls, cupboard doors nailed to walls, icky noncohesive 80's wood paneling) was that wood is low maintenance. Or in other words, she's too darn lazy to wash her walls and even lazier as to not want to paint or improve upon anything! So, we are picking option 2 of reason A. Leaving. Bwahaha..... We are leaning towards an apartment in San Bernardino. 2bed/1 or 2bath, 600-650/month. I really like it. Its far away enough that we are on our own, but close enough to spend time with family. Wesley doesn't like that its about 20 miles to work, but I think it will be alright. I just want to regain the feeling that we have SOMETHING nailed down. This apt. is also a month to month lease so we could always move if we find something better. If anyone knows of an affordable place to live that is closer, holler!

Update!
Well, we are getting closer and closer to July! I am so stinkin' excited its not even funny! I just finished the bouquets, and Wesley has been hard at work. He is so amazing. :) Oh hey! We have a house!!! Its a 2ish bedroom duplex in Ontario, and it was just 600/month!!! It seems just right for us, and my favorite part - its a Craftsman style house!!!! Aaaggghhhh!!!!!!!! I have always dreamed of someday owning a Craftsman. They are the last of the well-built house era, and they have such adorable details!!!! Ours is a bit of a hot mess, but hopefully we can work together with our landlady to help clean up and restore it to its original beauty. I would post pictures, but I am not sure what the landlady would think of having photos on the internet of her home. Especially when the house was such an utter disaster land. But picture this.. The house looks like a blind schizophrenic got all home depot on it. The walls are covered entirely in some sort of wood or laminate, yes laminate! It has drawer fronts and cupboards on nearly every inch of every wall, even where there are no actual drawers or cupboards, and one of the rooms has parquet tiling on the wall! Needless to say, I am pretty excited to get my paws on it and start ripping down some paneling. Wesley will be living in it in June I think. He wants some 'man time' on his own, and then I will switch him places in July. Then he'll move in on the 24th of July! We have everything we need as far as house stuff goes -furniture, kitchen stuff, bedding, everything! -Everything except two people to love it. We just can't wait!

Once Upon A Time....
Once Upon A Time there was a lovely princess named Dana, who lived in a magical land called Diamond. It was in a far off kingdom called California. One day, while she was at a party, a strange boy came up and snuggled next to her, rubbing his big fuzzy head against her unsuspecting hand. The princess looked down and low and behold it was Prince Wesley from the land of Hills. Well, the Princess was so surprised that she laughed at Wesley and said 'You are such a Teddy Bear!' They spent the rest of the night giggling and laughing and being silly together. The two decided to go out for the princess's birthday the following night, and from then on they were inseparable. But the Princess was very focused and sometimes rather bossy. She knew that Wesley was her prince and she wanted to marry him. But the Prince wasn't ready for that just yet. The princess would cry and cry and pester the prince nigh unto madness, begging him to say the magic words.... Well, eventually the princess's palace came under new management and she moved home to the land of cows. She tried to focus on school, but she missed her wonderful prince. In the month of November, when everyone worships turkeys, the princess's grandmother died. The princess came to the land called Diamond and saw her prince for one magical day. But the prince had hatched up a plan to get his princess back. In Early December, he snuck away to the princess's new castle and surprised her with the magic words! So now they're getting married and couldn't be more excited - and stressed. These are the Grand adventure's of Prince Peanut Butter, a very stubborn but altogether lovable boy and Princess Jelly, a sweet and sometimes sour girl.
